I have created many online applets for you to explore mathematics online.
Some browsers do not support the format. You will have to download a plug-in
to view and interact with these applets.
The best browser I have found to work with these applets is Mozilla Firefox 1.5
which is available for free at
http://www.mozilla.com/. It is an
excellent, fast browser.
Click here to go to the page with the applets. When you open one of the
links, a new browser page will open. You will be told to download the plugin to
make the page show up and be interactive. You do this at your own risk, of course.
Once you have installed the plug-in reload the applet and follow the directions
or try the one below.
Here is a link to one for the Quadratic Formula. Once you open it, you can highlight
the value for a, b, and/or c and enter new values. Click the star and watch the applet update
your solution, step by step. I will be posting more applets in the near future for all classes.
